Hi Choristers (and parents!),
I hope you’re all staying well and have been able to keep your voices going through the various RSCM resources and others that are available. If you fancy a singalong each day then the RSCM is publishing ‘A Hymn For The Day’ on their YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLn-vhbQASCJhW_Gz8Fww32Nmy_XuCQmNl As you probably know by now, the 4th Sunday of the month is the Team service where we like to include people singing. This week we’re celebrating The Ascension so it would be great if we could all join together and raise our voices! To that end I’ve recorded a ‘choir video’ for ‘All Hail The Power Of Jesus’ Name’, ‘He Is Exalted’ and ‘Meekness and Majesty’ and was wondering if anyone would like to join me to make a ‘virtual choir’? (Note that these ’choir videos’ are only available by following these links, you can’t find them on YouTube by searching). 14. All hail the power of Jesus’ name - https://youtu.be/NrVqF6Ufzfw 293. He is exalted - https://youtu.be/bZO2Ncf26lk 507. Meekness and majesty - https://youtu.be/HNCJIxYJTRw As before, the way it would work is as follows:
As before this is by no means mandatory, but could be fun if you fancy a go. And as before, if you happen to live with ex/retired choristers, or anyone else who enjoys a sing, they’d be very welcome to join in - the more the merrier ;-). And if you’re happy to have a go at one of the harmony lines in ‘All Hail The Power’ – then go for it on verses 2, 3 & 5! (Music and words for that one are at the side). Looking forward to hearing back from you, Peter Robinson, Choir Master Grays Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul |
