We may do something on Palm Sunday, watch this space. On the day we celebrated Epiphany, the Venerable Mike Lodge, Archdeacon Of Southend, asked us if that means Christmas is now finished? How might the story continue in our own lives, and how might we use the gifts we’ve been given in service to God?
It was great to then have Archdeacon Mike license the Revd Tony Burford within the Team as an Associate Minister. Tony received a very warm reception from all those gathered, and the whole Team has welcomed him enthusiastically. St Peter & St Paul's, Grays Thurrock, will be busy over the Christmas period welcoming all our guests to come and share in our Christmas preparations and celebrations:

Please remember that our Harvest festival service is on October 1st. We are collecting for Food bank and a local mother and baby unit. Tinned and packet foods are welcome or things for a baby. Bring what you can as an offering to God for this time of year, in thankful praise. Also, at 4pm in the afternoon, we are holding a Songs of Praise service. If you want to suggest a hymn to sing please fill in a form at church and let us know what you want and why.
