‘Give all thou canst; high heaven rejects the lore / Of nicely calculated less or more.’ (William Wordsworth) Reminder: Regular giving is needed for any church, charity etc. When this dips it has a knock-on effect. Our giving was down in August and September on the previous year. A key part of the problem seems to be that those who were giving by planned giving envelopes are not regularly giving electronic payments. If those who are now making electronic payments were to give regularly (monthly) by standing order this would be one step to solving the problem.
